The WST app is designed to bring the full World Snooker Tour experience into a single, focused mobile product. From live match tracking to in-depth player stats and editorial content, the goal was to create a platform that feels immediate, structured, and easy to navigatebalancing real-time data with content discovery. The design translates a traditionally broadcast-heavy sport into a clear, mobile-first experience built for fans who want to follow every moment, anywhere.

(Who)

Built for snooker fans ranging from casual viewers to dedicated followers of the World Snooker Tour. Users are primarily looking to track matches, stay updated on news, and access player and ranking information quickly without friction.

(What)

A mobile application that consolidates matches, live scores, news, player profiles, and rankings into one cohesive experience. It serves as both a real-time companion during tournaments and a content platform for ongoing engagement.

(Why)

Existing experiences are often fragmented—live scores, news, and player data are spread across different platforms. The aim was to unify these touchpoints into a single, streamlined product that prioritizes clarity, speed, and accessibility, allowing fans to stay connected to the sport without switching contexts.

(How)

The experience is structured around clear navigation and modular content. Core journeys—such as following matches, reading news, and exploring player data—are separated into distinct but connected sections. A strong visual hierarchy, consistent component system, and high-contrast UI ensure readability and quick scanning. Interaction patterns like tab states, filters, and bottom navigation provide intuitive control, while reusable components maintain consistency across the product.
